Drugstores: How Walgreens Register Rewards Work

Have you ever wondered how to shop Walgreens store rewards program? There are a few things you should know to help save you the most money.

Walgreens has Register Rewards (RR). You do not need a store rewards card to participate in this program. When you make a purchase and have qualifying merchandise, your RR will print at the bottom of your receipt for use on a future purchase. Register Rewards are to be used like cash and your purchase must exceed the amount of the reward in order for you to be able to use it. The Register Rewards expire two weeks from the date you received them.

Walgreens also has lots of coupons books at their store that have store coupons in them. The store coupons can be combined with manufacture coupons to maximize your savings. You usually only need one of these coupon per item you buy. If you buy two of the same product the register will automatically take the store coupon amount off of both items and you can use the same coupon over and over again. There is no need to have two or three of the same Walgreens store coupon which is nice so you don't have a handfull of coupons to use!

Be sure to check for the Children's Activity Book for $1. In that book you will find children related coupons on things like diapers, wipes, medicines and more. You can also find other coupon books/brochures at the front of the store near the weekly sale flyer or near the Phramacy counter.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to learn how to work CVS's ExtraCare rewards!
