Couponing can save you lots of money but if you do it at the right time it can save you even more! If you watch your stores sales you will notice that the same items seem to go on sale every 4 to 6 weeks or maybe its every 3 months. Start watching your sales and see how long until that item goes on sale again. Once you have learned when things go on sale be sure to stock up on that item to last you until it goes on sale again. And of course use coupons to get it cheaper!
Don't forget to check and see if your store offers store coupons that you can stack with manufacture coupons. Rite Aid offers store coupons and you can use a store coupon (or Video Values coupon), an in-ad coupon and a manufacture coupon together on one item.
